How to Source Products with Pietra

Once you’ve finalized your product design, the next step is sourcing. Pietra offers direct access to over 1,500 factories across a variety of merchandise categories—without broker fees, saving you between 8–20% compared to traditional sourcing methods.

Step 1: Access the Sourcing Section

To start sourcing, navigate to the Sourcing section in your Pietra dashboard:

  1. Click “Source with No Fees” on the homepage or

  2. Select “Sourcing” from the left-hand menu.

Step 2: Find the Right Factory Partner

Pietra provides multiple ways to discover the best supplier for your product:

  • Search by Product Category or Merchandise Type – Browse factories specializing in your type of product.

  • Explore the Factory Network – View recommended suppliers based on your business needs.

  • Filter by Key Criteria, such as:

    • Geographic location

    • Product subcategories

    • Sampling price range

    • Minimum order quantities (MOQs)

    • Production capabilities

You can also browse factories that specialize in packaging (e.g., custom boxes, poly mailers) to complement your product.

Step 3: Work with Freelancers & Agencies

Beyond sourcing manufacturers, Pietra also connects you with freelancers and agencies for:

  • Creative input & design services

  • Business & legal advice

  • Product photography & branding

  • Manufacturing consulting

  • Paid marketing strategies

Additionally, you can hire Shopify developers and web designers to create your brand’s online store.

Step 4: Submit a Custom Project Request

If you need a unique product or customization, you can submit a Custom Project Request to connect directly with manufacturers. We’ll cover this process in more detail in the next article.
