Pietra allows for a seamless import of Shopify orders into your Creator Hub once your store has been synced to Pietra’s fulfillment system. This ensures that any existing orders in your Shopify store are accurately reflected in Pietra’s platform for fulfillment.
This feature is especially useful for brands that have just completed their fulfillment onboarding with Pietra and need to import a backlog of orders placed before the sync was completed. This step is required if you want Pietra to fulfill an existing queue of orders from Shopify. If these orders are not imported, they'll need to be uploaded via a .csv file or manually entered into Pietra.
Important Notes on Order Imports
Importing orders is not automatically completed as part of the standard fulfillment setup.
This is a one-time import designed to bring in a backlog of orders. Once your store and products are synced, future Shopify orders will automatically sync with Pietra—no further manual imports are needed.
How to Import Shopify Orders
To manually sync your orders from Shopify into Pietra:
Navigate to the "Orders and Fulfillment" tab in your Creator Hub.
Select "Create Orders."
From the dropdown menu, choose "Sync Orders from Shopify."
This will open the Create Orders menu, allowing you to specify the orders you want to import.
Configuring Your Import
When initiating the import, you’ll need to select:
Start Date: Choose the date from which you want to begin importing orders.
Fulfillment Location: Select Pietra as the fulfillment location.
Payment Status: Choose from the following options:
Paid
Paid & Partially Refunded
All Orders
Fulfillment Status: Confirm which orders you want to import based on their fulfillment status.
After selecting your criteria, confirm the import.
Reviewing & Completing the Import
Pietra will calculate and display the number of orders that meet your selected criteria.
The system will prompt you to review the details before proceeding.
Once confirmed, select “OK” to begin the import.
The import process may take a few minutes. Once complete, the orders will appear in your Outstanding Orders Queue with the tag Shopify Import.
