What are Low Order Volume Processing Fees?

Although many 3PL warehouses have minimum requirements for entry, businesses of any size are welcome to use Pietra’s fulfillment services! This enables us to serve and support new Creators and brands who are getting started and are on their way to becoming established, household names.

To cover Pietra's operating expenses for small businesses, Pietra charges a small all-in-one fee, called a Low Order Volume Processing Fee. This enables us to avoid charging separate additional fees for receiving, setup, and/or account management and is incurred by all Creators shipping fewer than 2,000 orders/month from our warehouse.

With Pietra’s Beginner Plan membership, you will incur a weekly charge of $37 or 3% of your sales, whichever amount is lower. For example, if you sell just one $20 item, the low volume processing fee associated will be $0.60. This fee appears as "Low Order Volume Processing Fee" on your Weekly Sales & Order Fulfillment invoice, which is typically billed every Monday.

Please be aware the low volume fees cap of $37/week applies to orders processed via Shopify only. Orders processed via other e-commerce platforms or orders uploaded by Pietra are subject to an uncapped 3% low volume processing fee.

If you'd like to avoid paying the Low Order Volume Processing fee, you may upgrade your Pietra subscription to our Full Access Plan via the Creator Hub. Full Access Members do not pay any low volume fees.
