Our summary step-by-step fulfillment onboarding guide

Welcome to Pietra! We’re excited to help you streamline your fulfillment process. If you're onboarding to Pietra's fulfillment center, you'll need to follow these steps to set up your account, ship inventory, and start fulfilling orders.

Step 1: Create SKUs in Your Pietra Account

Before shipping inventory, ensure all your products and packaging have SKUs created in your Pietra account.

Step 2: Ship Inventory to Pietra

2a. If Shipping from an On-Platform Supplier

Map the contents of your shipment to ensure proper intake.

2b. If Shipping from an Off-Platform Supplier

Submit an Inventory Intake Form before shipping.

Step 3: Fulfillment Onboarding Call

Once your inventory is on the way, a Pietra team member will reach out to schedule your fulfillment onboarding call.
During this call, you'll meet your warehouse account manager and review:

  • Pietra’s 3PL operations

  • Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

  • Additional services available


Step 4: Inventory Receiving

  • Add tracking information to your shipment in your Pietra account.

  • Wait for Pietra to receive and process your inventory.


Step 5: Scheduling Your Integration Call

Once your inventory is received, Pietra will email you to schedule an integration call.
This call covers:

  • SKU syncing

  • Bundles

  • Order rules

  • Returns & more


Step 6: Sales Channel Integration

After your integration call, Pietra will complete your requested sales channel integrations.


Step 7: Configure Fulfillment Settings

7a. Add Order Rules

Define how orders are processed based on your business needs.

7b. Set Up Returns

Configure return settings to match your store policies.

7c. Update Shipping Rates

Ensure shipping rates align with your pricing strategy and what customers see at checkout.


Step 8: Test Orders & Go Live!

8a. Place a Test Order

  • Verify that orders appear correctly in your sales channel and Pietra account.

8b. Confirm & Launch!

Once everything is set up, you’re ready to go live! 🚀
