How to Map Products to SKUs in Your Pietra Account
Once you've created product listings and assigned SKUs, the next step is to map those SKUs to your physical inventory. This step ensures that when inventory arrives at the warehouse, we know exactly which item is which.
What does "Mapping" mean?
Mapping means linking the physical product (the actual item you'll send to our warehouse) to the corresponding SKU in your Pietra account. This is how our fulfillment system knows which item to pick, pack, and ship when an order is placed.
When do you need to map products?
After creating your SKUs
Before sending inventory to the warehouse
Any time you create a new product listing or variant

Why Mapping Matters
If your products are not mapped to SKUs:
The warehouse will not know what the product is
The item will not be received into inventory
Orders containing that item cannot be fulfilled
Mapping ensures your inventory is correctly organized and ready for fulfillment.
